Botanical Monotype 3
Foraged from grassy verges, wild meadows and my untamed English garden, these botanical prints are created through the slow and restorative process of walking within nature and gathering selections of leaves and flowers. When back in the studio I use delicate handmade papers and high quality inks to print these botanicals. They are produced through the process of monotype in a printing press, this is how the intricate details are formed. I am selective with colour and composition to create entirely unique and beautiful pieces.
Due to the handmade nature of the paper it is hard to give an exact size but each print sits upon at 15 x 20CM mount board. The actual print is closer to 14 x 18CM
